COREWARD is free, and it stays free: every world, every star, every mission. If you give something, you get exactly what everyone else gets.
The one thing for sale is a ship. Two of the three hulls in the hangar (Y in the game) are bought, once, for the account; in normal flight they are a shape and nothing more. In survival the Terran Fighter jumps fifty light years on a tank instead of twenty-five, and the Vanguard Cruiser carries twice the cargo, and the Northstar shrugs off radiation (it can orbit the double pulsar) and mines twice as fast — that is the whole advantage, and it is written here so nobody buys one thinking otherwise.
COREWARD is a non-profit project. The paid ships exist for one reason: to cover the server and the machine time behind the game. Nobody here is getting rich; what you pay keeps the lights on.
Hosting and the domain, and the machine time behind the generated descriptions and surface views. That is the whole list.
The amount is decided on the server, not in the browser — the page only says which of the two you picked, so the figure cannot be edited on the way. Payment is handled entirely by PayPal; this site never sees your card details, and no card details ever reach it. Nothing is stored about you here beyond what PayPal itself reports back about the transaction, and it is not linked to a COREWARD account.
It is a one-off payment. There is no subscription, nothing recurring, and nothing to cancel later.
